"ACTIVISTS AND ACTIVISMS: STORIES OF RESISTANCE, RESURGENCE, AND RESILIENCE IN NOGOJIWANONG/PETERBOROUGH"

In collaboration with the Ontario Public Interest Research Group and the Trent Community Research Centre, and as part of May Chazan's course WMST 4122H, the Aging Activisms team will be bringing together students and community activists across generations and movements to record people's diverse stories with working for social change in Nogojiwanong/ Peterborough. In the Fall 2016, we hope to create our first 12 digital stories with social changers of diverse ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We will then continue to build an online archive of activist biographies from this community in the years to come.
