Ziysah von Bieberstein

Ziysah von Bieberstein is a performance poet with a knack for blurring boundaries and forging connections. Ziy's rhythmic and reverent rhymes have helped to raise thousands of dollars for social justice and Indigenous solidarity. A part of the Peterborough Poetry Slam Collective since its inception, Ziy has represented this community several times at national competitions. With family lines stemming from Jewish communities in Poland and Lithuania, Ziysah is grateful to be living, parenting, writing and organizing in Nogojiwanong (Peterborough).
