February 3-5, 2017 | Aging Activisms @ Trent Community Movements Conference

Several Aging Activisms members will be participating in this year's Community Movement's Conference, From Climate to Culture: The Complexity of Change.

From the organizers:

"This year’s conference will focus on a myriad of topics related to climate change- everything from how development affects climate change to how climate change affects culture. Environmental problems are more often than not a product of particular relations and interactions that occur within human societies, international landscapes, and political arenas. To comprehends these intersections between development and climate change, it is imperative that the economic, political, social and ecological aspects of the current climate change crisis be addressed. Tickets are being sold for $15 and will get you entry to all three days, free food, access to movement building workshops (Sunday) and of course, the chacne to listen to amazing speakers that are locally and internationally recognized.
