Elder Shirley Williams Pheasant: Honourary Doctor of Laws Recipient


Elder Shirley Williams Pheasant will be receiving an honourary Doctor of Laws from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology on Friday, June 9th 2017. Elder Shirley is one of the leading teachers of Anishinaabemowin, a Professor Emeritus at Trent, and a Water Walker. We are thrilled to announce this important accomplishment in recognition of her tremendous contributions. Elder Shirley is a Collective member, and we are so grateful for what she has brought to various Aging Activisms events over the past three years.
