THIS SUNDAY!

No One Is Illegal-Toronto and End Immigration Detention Network present an afternoon of spoken word poetry and speakers to mourn the deaths and sufferings at border crossings and in detention camps; and to organize for justice.

Featuring: - David Delisca - SPIN El Poeta - Charmie - Jennifer Alicia - And more to be announced! Performances will focus around the themes of displacement and migration, and also celebrations of our collective migrant stories and what brought us to Turtle Island. No One Is Illegal - Toronto in coalition with the End Immigration Detention Network, has also invited Ontario detainees to call in to speak to us about the present realities of detention and remind us, once again, that we NEED an immediate end to immigration detention. We will also be providing updates on our current campaigns and there will be snacks. Join us on Sunday, June 26th from 3-6pm. This event is open to the public and is PWYC with a suggested cover of $5. — Need to know: – Doors open at 2:50 – PWYC ($5 suggested) – Accessible on demand via portable ramp; washrooms not accessible – Please avoid using strong-scented products due to sensitivities – Tasty refreshments (non-alcoholic) with Zatoun oliveoil+za’atar dipping.

We will hear from a current detainee and will also be providing updates on our current campaigns.
